Tahiti Cruise 2015

So for Travis's 40th Birthday we took an amazing getaway to Tahiti.  We flew 8 hours from LA to Papetee, Tahiti.  Where we boarded the Paul Gauguin Cruise and got to get off at Bora Bora and stay in an Overwater Bungalow for a night.  This trip was so amazing, and the water was out of this world!  Thanks to Sherri who flew in to stay with the kids.
Just landed and received a lei greeting

Enjoying the resort before heading to the cruise

Here we go...............

First Stop was Haaine.  Sadly it rained most of the day, we tried going out to snorkel and enjoy the beach, but it was a bit hard too with the clouds.

Day #2 TAHAA
This was the boats private island and the sun came out!!!!  It was so awesome, the water was the most amazing thing I ever saw.  So many different hues of blue.  We relaxed, had coconut drinks, snorkeled in really shallow water, and ate food!

Day #3 BORA BORA
So we started our morning in Bora Bora with an under water walk, where we had helmets that you could breath in under water.  We had tons of fish swarming us because we had food packs tied to us.  A Sting Ray would come by us too and let us pet him.  We were under water for about 30 minutes, it was really cool!
After the excursion we took a water taxi that took us to our Over Water Bungalow for the night!  It was the highlight!!

Day #5 MOOREA
We went on this awesome hike to Belvedere Lookout with our friends the Liones.  We had lots of laughs and a great walk even though we got drenched in rain!

Dinner on the Boat was always so good
Day #6 MOOREA
Today we went to a Lagonarium where the had an amazing amount of sea life.  Sting Rays, All kinds of fish, Sharks, and Eels!  The currant was so strong that you had to hang on ropes to snorkel, there is a time where they feed the fish and they ALL come.  I have never been surrounded by so much sea life at once, it was unbelievable!
