Today we were hurrying off to church, when Luke remembered he forgot something in the house. So I stopped and he ran in. Kamryn then says "Lets leave him, that would be funny!" Drew says "NO!" (Thinking he was going to say something like "that's not nice") he goes on to say "No, because then it wouldn't be fair that he gets to stay home from church, and I don't!"

Happy 4th "Burpday" Kamryn!

Kamryn is 4yrs and so excited.  She has been asking all month when her "Burpday" will be. Kamryn is such a sweetie.  She gets a big puckered lip if she is in trouble at any degree.  She loves being mom's baby and lets everyone know it. She is constantly trying to sound out the letters in words and

loves to sing songs. How lucky am I to get to cuddle you everyday. We love our little Love Bug!

 

  My parents happened to be on a break from their China mission and was here for the festivities!

Following Council

During a scripture study the topic came up on garments and how they are a safety to us.  Sunday morning Drew came down wearing this extra t-shirt under his church clothes.  I asked why he had that on and he said he wanted to be protected!

That same Sunday a man told Drew if he wanted to look like a missionary he better start tucking in his shirt, and Drew told him "Nah, I will just start tucking it in after my mission." Oh Drew!

Disneyland Day

The kids had a day off of school so a bunch of families went to Disneyland.  It was such a fun day just taking our time and enjoying each other's company.......until we lost Kamryn! We had just finished riding Soaring and all headed over to Scream'in, which is across the whole park. Travis was pushing the stroller so I thought he had Kamryn, and I was up front visiting, so he thought I had her. By the time we realized she was missing we were all the way across the park! So Travis took off running back to Soaring and then I took off running after him....nice dramatic scene!  The scary thing is we didn't know where/when she had wandered off between here and there! Travis said he prayed the whole way while running that she would be safe where we left her. He made it there first and found her sitting by a Disneyland worker right where we had left from Soaring. She was just jumping around and playing, not seeming too upset.  Travis ran up behind her and threw her up in the air and caught her! So glad that our story ended happy!

Sunbeams

Kamryn started Sunbeams today......my baby girl, I can't believe all my kids have entered the Primary world! I kept peeking in the window at her and she sat on her seat the whole time and was trying so hard to sing words to songs she didn't know yet!

Wicked!!

Our friends the Markhams had some extra tickets to the play Wicked.....they called us the day before to see if we wanted to go.....let me think....ummm...YES! I have been begging Travis to take me for a few months and the opportunity came at the perfect time. The play was awesome and the voices were INCREDIBLE!

We headed to LA and grabbed dinner then went into Hollywood to the Pantages Theatre, it was such a great night!  Afterwards we waited for the 2 lead parts to come out so we could get our pictures with them!

Over the break we went to a place called Pretend City down in Irvine. It is this whole little city for kids to pretend and play.  It was so cute, my kids loved it.
