Santa Barbara

We took Brynn to EFY in Santa Barbara this week.  She was so brave and went all by herself! Her dorms were behind us.  She had a view of the ocean from her window. Lucky!

Brynn & Maddie (her roommate from Laguna Beach)
We decided to stay 2 nights in Santa Barbara since we had never been there. This is a picture of the really popular State Street.  We couldn't believe how many homeless roamed this street.  Every time we went out to eat, we usually walked right out and handed our left overs to a homeless person.

The next morning we rode beach cruisers for most of the day.  It was so fun, we rode all over town.
Travis checking out the expensive beach homes.  The one he is looking at was worth $133million, we googled it (too high of wall to get a picture).
 Riding along the coast....
Travis in front of the Four Seasons resort...
Check out this hippie van we rode by. He was out dusting all his kink-knaks on it, he says he lives in it, and drives it all over. Crazy!
Our next stop on the beach cruisers was the Santa Barbara Court House.  It was so beautiful, very Mission Style.  We decided to go in a court room and observe a court in session.  It was so interesting, while we were in there the judge announced to the court that there were some visitors in the back, and started asking us questions!
 The main hall
Views on top of the court house from the bell tower (you can see the ocean too)

 Santa Barabra was so beautiful!
  Break time for some love!

More great views, we also stopped and got a 40 min couples massage, it felt great!
Eating at a Yummy Italian Restaurant on State Street, I think Travis and I ate 6 rolls a piece here!

Santa Barbara Mission
On our way out of town we stopped and saw the Mission that was established late 1700's
 In the Mission Court Yard

There were so many delicious places to eat there.  We ended off eating a brunch at Jeanine's before we left, so good!

While we were gone in Santa Barbra here's what else was going on:
Kamryn was getting facials with her best friend Sara

Brynn was having a blast at EFY and strengthening her testimony.

Luke hit a home run and scored the winning run to win the All-Star championship in the very last inning. Needless to say he got the game ball! (My brother Clint took the video for us).

Way to go!  Sad we missed the game, but heard Luke did amazing.  The other team got 5 runs in the first inning, then they brought in Luke to pitch for the second inning and he held them strong. They only got 1 run for the rest of the game. Then in the last inning we made a major comeback!
Way to go Yucaipa Nationals All-Star!

Celebrating at Pizza Hut!
