Catalina Island

We took a day trip to Catalina with our friends the Ewell Family.  It was a unusually chilly day, but very fun.
Salisbury & Ewell Kids getting ready to board.
On the ferry ride over the swells were really big. The kids were laughing so loud, that I am sure the crowd thought our kids don't get out much.  Half way through the laughing wore off and we all went into survival mode of freezing and fighting the feeling of being sea sick! Kamryn below in her survival mode. Poor thing!

The icon of Catalina, this is the old Casino which is now a movie theatre and museum.

Table for 14:) We ate at a yummy Mexican Restaurant, they surprised Drew with his own birthday serenade and a sundae!
Happy (real) Birthday Drew!
The dad's and kids went on a golf cart ride around the island (The carts only fit 6 people, so Shelly and I stayed back).  They saw wild deer, watched the zip liners, and saw the nature.
Group shot on Catalina!
