We took a family trip to Yosemite, it was so beautiful up there. We had a great time all hanging out as a family.
El Capitan and Half Dome
We stayed in a Yurt, it was perfect for us. It had a kitchen, bathroom, A/C, and a heater. We would BBQ on the grill for dinner and do smores each night!

Our first day we saw Yosemite on bikes, it was so much fun! We probably rode 12 miles that day. It was awesome, looking back the kids said that was one of their favorite days.
By the end of the day Kamryn was wiped out, good thing dad was pulling her the whole time or our family day would not have been as pleasant!
Most all the water was gone since it was late summer, this is what was left of Mirror Lake.

Under Half Dome
Had to capture Half Dome behind us!
Went and saw the Awahnee Hotel. This is the Hotel that CA Adventure copied. When we went to take this picture Kamryn was sitting on the side walk not wanting to get in the picture and I said "Hurry Kam, get in the picture" and she tiredly said "Just pretend I wasn't born yet." Haha! That wont work sis!
Each night we would drive back to our Yurt and have a family camp fire with smore's, it was such a fun family time.
Our next day we hiked to Nevada Falls, and down the John Muir Trail. It was 4.5 miles, Kamryn was a trooper.
In the spring the waterfall is raging, making a mist trail all the way up!

We are standing right on the edge of the waterfall, the picture below shows the corner railing were we are standing! Scary!
We ate lunch up here and there were SO many squirrels, they were practically climbing in our laps for food! We think we sat in "Squirrel village", at least that is what we called it! It got to the point were I was grossed out and Travis was trying to hit them off with hiking polls!!!

Had to get a picture of Kamryn to show what a trooper she was by doing the whole hike, her whole face was filthy, but she earned an ice cream cone, WE ALL DID!
We saw wild life each day. The one below was a bear!

We drove up to Glacier Point, it was amazing!!! Half Dome was huge from up there. They had a telescope to look at all the hikers on Half Dome, it was so cool!

After going to Glacier Point, we went and swam in the river there!
That night we celebrated Travis's 39th Birthday with Pizza, amazing Bread sticks, and ice cream! We love our dad and all he does for us!!

Brynn took a drive on the trail, seriously almost hit her head on the wood post! Haha! Brynn always ends with a fall!
Awesome family trip with awesome family memories. Another memory that created a bond between us!
