4th of July 2013

 The 4th of July started with a ward breakfast which had a program, pony rides, and games.  It was a really good turn out.

Kamryn getting a pony ride......Brynn kept saying she really wanted to get a ride, but I had to keep reminding her that the pony is for the primary kids, not the YW!

 That afternoon our friends the Shipp's drove in from Vegas to spend the 4th with us.  We BBQ/swam at our house.  Where the wives got thrown in the pool (of course).  Then we headed to the firework show.  The kids all rode a couple carnival rides together and then settled down to watch the fireworks.

 After we got home, we lit a few fireworks of our own that the Shipp's brought.

The next day we went to the beach.  It was crowded, but still a fun day.

 After dinner we headed to the Marriott resort and made smore's.  Kamryn (our class clown) wouldn't keep a straight face for Travis.

It was a great holiday, thanks to the Shipp's for coming down and spending it with us! We love you guys!
