Softball Season 2013

I begged for Brynn and Kennedy to be on the same team this year.  I couldn't have survived four different teams again during busy seasons.  I even pulled out the Shingles story to convince them!  And it worked!

 Brynn had a good hitting season this year.

 Kennedy did good fielding and ended up moving up in the batting order to #2.

Kennedy says she is for sure playing softball and Brynn says "No!" She wants to give Water Polo a try for High School.

Mother's Day 2013

 I had a great Mother's Day.  The kids showered me with lots of love and homemade cards that always make me cry.  Kennedy bought me my favorite lip gloss from Sephora and Travis got me a spin bike for the house!

 Drew made this portrait of me.  He said someone in his class laughed at it and so he was really embarrassed to give it to me.  He even tried erasing his name, so cute!

We invited Kay Flynn over for dinner.  She has taken my girls to all their softball games and practices for me this year.  She has been a life saver and a true blessing!  I would not have survived the baseball/softball/tax season with out her!

 Kamryn's little best friend Sara Markham had her 5th birthday. They went to have a tea party and decorate cupcakes at this darling place!  So cute. Part of Kamryn's gift to her was matching swimsuits! Love these two dolls!

The kids look forward to this night ALL YEAR! The boys love camping in the woods with dad and running crazy in nature. While the boys leave to go camping, us girls go out too!

 Kamryn got invited to a late-night with Sara Markham so it was just me and the 2 older girls. We went out shopping at Victoria Gardens and had such a blast!  We don't get to do this much, so the girls have been saving for months for this outing!  After shopping till we dropped, we met Payton and Paige for dessert! It was such a FUN night, the girls couldn't stop talking about it!

San Diego Weekend

Travis & Meredith, Kevin & Jody Adams, Brent & Krissy Lowe visiting the Mormon Batallion!

Travis and I slipped away for two days to see his best buds from his home town (missing Brandon Jenks family).  We had such a great time.  It was a perfect weekend of fun, relaxing, and lots of laughs!

  That night we went to dinner on the beach in Del Mar at a restaurant called Jake's.  It was right on the beach with awesome food,
I think that is now my new favorite restaurant! Us gals got a picture on the beach.

 The next morning the guys went out golfing and the wives went to breakfast, shopping, and the beach.  We loved our girl time together!

 The second night we drove into downtown San Diego into the Gas Lamp District.  We ate at this really nice restaurant called Sear Suckers. The waitress did not seem to like us, so it became the joke of the night.  The second joke of the night was when the wives walked by a bunch of Homeless people we got "Cat-Calls".   Afterwards we drove to BJ's resturant and all ordered dessert......lots of laughs AND nose touching from Brent and Travis!            

 

 

 The next morning we got breakfast then headed into La Jolla Cove and saw all the seals.  Then went to an Italian Gelato store and got some yummy gelato.  Sadly, I ended up leaving my camera there and didn't realize it till I was back home!!  They ended up have amazing customer service and helped me get it back.  We will definitely go back for a visit & some gelato!

Had a blast from the past moment.......we stumbled upon this restaurant in Old Town that we went too and ate at on our honeymoon, it was so good and was called Casa De Pico, but the name has changed since......we have not stopped talking about this restaurant in 15 yrs of marriage!

  Every day driving to our hotel we got to pass the San Diego Temple, it was so awesome! It was such a great weekend with some top notch company!  Love you guys!

Wiped Out

The kids had a day off from school so the family went to the beach.  Looks like Kamryn and Drew dug for too many Sand Crabs! Wiped out!

I was tucking in Kamryn and she says........

Mom- "Sure" so I hug and lay by her.

Kamryn- "No, mom. Cheek to cheek."
