Christmas Eve

We have started a fun new tradtion last year.  We go bowling on Christmas Eve Day as a family.

 We bowled a couple games and had pizza, it was a fun time. I think I got the lowest score out of anyone.....even Kamryn:/

Later that night we had Clint and his family over for Christmas Eve dinner, a video on Christ's Birth, and a present exchange.  Love this night!

Salisbury Summary 2011

Travis still balances a busy  life as a business owner and Bishop. We were able to get away on a trip to Spain, we loved seeing another part of the world.

Meredith  keeps the house ticking like clockwork, and loves working with the Young Women's.

Brynn 12yrs.  started junior high this year and is working on the student council and runs the lunch time activities.

Kennedy 10yrs. is happy to have her ears pierced and begs for a gourmet breakfast every morning.

Luke 8yrs. got baptized this year and lives for throwing the football before school every morning with dad.

Drew 6yrs.  is enjoying "big kid" school and is concerned he will never lose a tooth, and will smile with baby teeth forever.

Kamryn 3yrs.  loves her little pre-school group and finds safety in mom (since the older kids randomly scare her with a pig mask)

We think of you often and cherish the memories we have made with you!

Anniversary of 14yrs!

Travis and I celebrated our 14yr anniversary this year. We slipped away for a night and did some Christmas shopping at Victoria Gardens, which is a really nice out door mall. We went to the movies and saw the new Mission Impossible on an IMAX screen, which was crazy because you felt like you were doing some of the stunts. We then enjoyed a yummy dinner at Lucille's.....headed to our hotel and were asleep by 9pm.  That either means we are over scheduled or getting old! Either way it felt great! Loved the gift of "PEACE" this year for a night!

Ward Christmas Party

We had a fun ward Christmas party this year. Dinner , a band, and a visit from Santa!

 Kamryn was scared when she first saw Santa, but when I mentioned that she gets a candy cane when she sits on his lap, she suddenly changed her mind about him.

Christmas Baking

So for Christmas this year Sherri got all the girls matching Christmas aprons, they each have our name on them. Such a cute idea!

 Time for some Christmas goodies.  We turned up the Christmas music and started baking. The girls had fun decorating the cookies, while I had fun sneaking bites of cookie dough!

Ariana's Wedding

Travis's little sister got married on Dec 10th in the Columbia River Temple.  We flew in and there was freezing fog, making it difficult for the plane to land. After some prayers, the plane landed.  It was 22 degrees out and all the tree's looked like this, it was cold, but beautiful!

I am so grateful we took the whole family up there.  It was such a special day with such a special feeling, I am so happy my kids were able to feel that and be apart of this day. I know this day left a strong impression on all their little spirits!
