"What are you doing?"

So whenever I make Kamryn upset, she instantly throws her hand back (just as this picture) like she is going to hit me......

So I always ask "What are you doing?" and right away she fibs and says "Nothing, I am just scratching back here."  It's one of the cutest little lies she tells!

Hoop Shoot 2011

Luke did a basketball competition at his elementary school where he won the most shots out of all of 3rd grade (Later his PE coach told me he actually had the most shots out of all the grade levels).  So he went to a city competition called Hoop Shoot where he went against all the other 3rd grade winners in the city.  Whoever gets the most shots out of 20 wins.  Luke took second place out of Yucaipa! Way to go Luke!

Dreaming of Christmas

We decorated for Christmas, I love the glow of the Christmas tree at night.  Kamryn looked so cozy sleeping next to the tree I had to capture it......dreaming of a White Christmas, unfortunately she will have to keep dreaming! 

State Champions

Travis and Luke took a whirlwind trip to Seattle for a day. His two younger brothers were playing in the State Championship game of football for Connell High school (where Travis went too).......No one knew they were coming so it was a fun surprise for his family and brothers to see them there!

Thanksgiving Week

So for Thanksgiving week we stayed around here and had our own family time.  The first couple of days we braved the crowds at Disneyland. 

A couple stopped and gave us these two Mickey & Goofey stuffed animals because they said they didn't have room in their suitcases to take them back on the plane. My kids were thrilled! Thank you to whomever you were, you made my kids day!

The kids in line for California Scream'n....it's their favorite ride at the park.  It has a good balance of easy, but thrill.

This is us on the huge Mickey Ferris Wheel at California Adventure.  The older I am getting the more afraid of heights I am becoming.....so I was super nervous in this picture (notice the cell phone grip...ready to call 911 at any minute)! Look at Kamryn's face. She was so scared she had the shivers and she kept saying "I can't stop wiggling". It didn't help that Travis would over exaggerate his every move making the cage move more! Needless to say I got a bit snappy up there. Not planning on riding it again any time soon!

Bug's Life Movie

Since we had no visitors ths year and no family around our friends the Ewell's invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner....it was soooooo yum!

Bonus Room Makeover

We finally did our bonus room!  We love the big over-sized sectional. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's huge.  All 7 of us can sprawl out and not even touch each other, which cuts down on sibling conflict.....looking forward to some peaceful family movie nights together!
