All Stars

Luke & Brock were both nominated for All-Stars this year for the 9yr. old team. They had an amazing season.  In the beginning I went to the coach telling him Luke wouldn't be able to play on the Sunday games. He was so great about it and told me he wouldn't punish a kid for going to church. He had 3 LDS players on his team he would loose on Sunday's. The only way they had to play on Sunday is if they lost a game. Our team went undefeated and never had to play on a Sunday. I really believe our team was blessed because our coach was willing to help our boys keep the sabbath!

Luke played short stop and pitcher this season.  He did a great job.  There was an article in the paper about the team.  The excerpt on Luke:  Can't find it...but said he pitched a good game and got 11 strike outs!

We had to celebrate Brynn's birthday early this year (again) because she was going to be up at girls camp for it.  So we put together a pool party along with some good food!

13 things I love about Brynn

1. She loves to cuddle with me still!
2. She is very loyal to her parents.
3. She did student council this past year and got up to run games and make announcements in front of her whole school.
4. She tries hard to excel in school.
5. She helps me clean for company.
6. She is very girly.
7. She tells funny stories that make me laugh.
8. She is very safety conscious.
9. She has a strong desire to do what is right.
10. She takes charge as a leader (Beehive  President).
11. She is halfway done with her Personal Progress.
12. She gives awesome foot rubs!
13. She is beautiful & confident.

We love you Brynn, Heavenly Father saw something special in you to send you down as my oldest.  You gave me the title of Mother. You are such a wonderful example to your siblings!

YW Girls Camp 2012

Every year on the last night of girls camp the Bishop's and their wives come up for dinner and testimony meeting. This is always a fun and special night.

 This was Brynn's actual birthday, so we brought up brownies to share.  This is her when the whole table was singing Happy Birthday to her during dinner.  She wasn't too happy though because she was hoping to go home with us a night early, but dad said NO.  We told her you need to finish girls camp to the end.  Even though it wouldn't have been a big deal to take her a night early, we had to teach the principle.  She was a good sport about it, even though she had already packed up her stuff and deflated her air mattress!

Happy 4th of July

This year Brynn was at Girls camp during the 4th, we missed her.  We BBQ'd and swam with Clint's family and her sister's family the Fritz's. Then that night we headed to a carnival and watched the fireworks.
