Brynn's 12th Birthday!

 Brynn is 12yrs old this year!  Such a fun age to be.  She now gets to shave her legs and wear a bit of makeup (mascara & lip gloss), and go into YW.  This year she had to miss her birthday at home because she was at Girls Camp.  She had a great time.  I was so proud of her for having such a good attitude about going because she didn't have any close LDS girls her age up there.  She was brave all day about going and then when she pulled away and saw tears in my eyes she burst into a cry that she later told us she had been holding in all day!

We celebrated her birthday a bit later this year since Girls Camp got in the way.

Shipp's Visit

The Shipp's came to visit this weekend.  We had a great time going to the beach, BBQ, and eating!  We always looked forward to their stay, by the end each one of my kids are trying to beg me to ask if they can stay longer!

On our way out of Newport Beach we stopped and saw the new temple there......it was so awesome. 

Date Night!

 Enjoyed a little escape from the 9 kids and ate some good food and shared some good stories!  Drew asked me " Why do you guys date if your already married?"

Salisbury Family Reunion 2011

We have been waiting for this reunion for 2 years.  The kids love going up to the farm in Washington where Travis was raised.  The get to run around all day playing in the fields and chasing the cats.  I love it because I never hear from them the whole time.  We had to get the kids up at 3:30am to catch our flight....ouch!

 Makala & Meredith with baby Rex and Lyle.....got to see my dear friend Makala and her new twin boys.  They were so darling.  There is no one like Makala, she is the example of all examples.  I feel truly blessed to have crossed paths with her.  She is the one who helped me survive nursing school, always there routing me on, I think Heavenly Father knew exactly who/what I needed during nursing school.....love you Makala!

Luke and I got to go try and shoot guns.....it had a pretty good kick that it cut my thumb......believe it or not, but I even shot an MP5......now that's crazy!

All the couples got away for a night after the kids were in bed and went hot tubing.....so fun!
