Beach Day with the Lowes

We went to the beach the day after Christmas and it was 80 degrees!  It was beautiful!  We met up with our great friends.  Brent and Travis go way back (like birth).  With the Lowe's it's always a great day, it's like being with family.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we did our family tradition of spending time together bowling.

That night we had Clint and Liz's family over.  We ate dinner, decorated cookies for Santa, had a program about Christ, and then had our family Christmas Exchange.

Singing Book of Mormon Stories, love Kamryn's final pose!

Liz got all the boys head lamps
Liz gave Paige and I Janell's book One Sweet Cupcake!  Super excited!

Salisbury's cookies for Santa.  Kamryn's cookies was so mounded with candy it had to have it's own plate.  I bet Santa got diabetes with one bite of that thing!

Happy 16th Anniversary

For our 16th Anniversary we took a night and stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in Newport Beach.  It was so relaxing just to look out the window and see all the surfers and hear the ocean.  We rode bikes, went out to eat at a really nice restaurant, and watched the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade!  Nice time away to spend just with each other!

Dinner reservations at Mortons.....the steaks were awesome and check out this sundae they gave is for free for celebrating with them.....they also personalized the top of our menu for us.  Cute!
The boat parade.....lots of lights, boats were playing music, some had singers, and even dancers!

Christmas Fun

Drew had his school performance for Chapman Heights.  Anytime they would sing "wish you a Merry Christmas"  he was always sure to point straight at me.  So funny!  We missed the other kids performance because it was on our anniversary where we were gone for the night.........
